Using Styky on my phone How is Styky different than using the phonebook on my cell phone? Styky is so much more then a phonebook.
Styky is a networking community shrunk down to fit into your cell phone.
Styky allows you to save and update all your contacts in Faces; even
if you lose your phone, your Faces will still lie safely at Styky. You
can also store and share photos in Snaps. Plus you’ll receive special
offers from some of your favorite brands in Steals. Styky has all the
same great features of your favorite online social networking community,
but since Styky also works on your cell phone, connecting with friends
is now even easier and more fun. How do I copy all the contacts on my phone to www.styky.com? Launch Styky on your mobile device,
go to FACES, and select SYNC PHONEBOOK. Once you choose to START syncing,
Styky will read the phonebook on your device, and backup all of your
Faces to www.styky.com. How do I restore the contacts on www.styky.com to my phone? Launch Styky on your mobile device,
go to FACES, and select SYNC PHONEBOOK. Once you choose to START syncing,
Styky will copy all of your Faces from www.styky.com and update your
mobile phonebook. Can I use Styky to transfer my numbers from and old phone to a new phone? Yes! First, on your old device,
make sure you've downloaded Styky and run SYNC PHONEBOOK to backup the
latest copy of your contacts. Then, as soon as you get your new device,
install Styky and run SYNC PHONEBOOK on it to transfer all of your contacts
from www.styky.com to your new device. How do I upload pictures I take with my camera phone to Styky? From your mobile device, send an MMS or email with the picture attached to pics@styky.com. I
really like a picture I saw in Snaps. Can I make it my phone's wallpaper? These Steals are great! How do I use them? When you're ready to redeem your Steal, simply open it from the list, select USE, and show it to the cashier. Be sure to share your Steals with friends. The more you use and share your Steals, the more Steals you’ll receive. How come I have a Steal that my friend doesn't? Sometimes vendors send Steals to
select individuals. But don't worry, you can share your Steal with your
friend by opening it from the list, and selecting SHARE. What is a Popularity score? Popularity scores are a fun way
to see how connected you and your friends are. The more Styky members
that know you (have your phone number), the more popular you are! Using Styky online Where can I control my privacy options from? Visit www.styky.com, go to the Settings page, and follow the Privacy Options link. How does Styky keep the contacts in my phonebook private? When Styky members browse your network, they only see the names you've stored, not the numbers associated with them. If they want to get a number from your phonebook, they can use Styky to either ask you for it, or ask for it directly from the person whose number they want. What if I don't want certain people to see my Styky profile or contacts? You can control your privacy settings by visiting www.styky.com and going to the Settings page. You’ll see a link there for Privacy Options, where you decide who sees your information and who doesn't. Can I stop people who have my number from using Styky to share it with others? Yes. On the Privacy Options page, just select the option "Block people from getting my contact information from anyone but me." My phone number is changing. Can Styky help me update all of my friends with the new information? Yes. Visit www.styky.com and go the Faces page. You'll see a link to Send Updates to your friends. From there, you can choose whom to send your new number to, and once they've accepted your request, your number will be automatically be updated in their phonebooks the next time they sync with Styky. My cell phone number is changing, but I don't want to create a new Styky account. How do I change my login information? Visit www.styky.com and go to the Settings page.
