Use of Information Obtained by StykyWhen you register with Styky, you create your own profile and privacy settings. Your profile information, as well as your name and photo, may be displayed to people allowed by your privacy settings to enable you to connect with new people on Styky. We may occasionally use your name, mobile number, and/or email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Fone2Fone and/or Styky that we think you may find valuable. Profile information is used by Styky primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. Profile information you submit to Styky will be available to users of Styky whom you have allowed to access the information through your privacy settings (e.g., everyone, no one, people in your contact list). Your name, profile, and profile picture thumbnail will be available in search results across the Styky network and those limited pieces of information may be made available to third party search engines. This is primarily so your friends can find you, request to add your to their phonebooks, and send you their updated contact information. People who see your name in searches, however, will not be able to access your phone number unless they already have it in their phonebook. Styky will send you only service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, if a friend sends you a new message or request, or shares a deal or discount with you, you may receive a message via email, SMS, or MMS alerting you to that fact. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account. Styky may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people live in New York and personalizing deal and discounts so that we can provide you Styky. We believe this benefits you. You can know more about the world around you and, where there are deals and discounts, they're more likely to be things you’re interested in. For example, if you list your zip code, we may share a discount for free pizza at the local pizza joint. But we don't tell the pizza joint who you are.
Sharing Your Information with Third PartiesStyky is about sharing information with others — friends and people in your phonebook — while providing you with controls that restrict other third parties from accessing your information.
